Another thing about me that I've had since I was a kid: I've always loved reading. Growing up, I must have read hundreds of books from a variety of genres. I loved fantasy novels such as books from the Harry Potter and Rick Riordan series. I also enjoyed reading science books about things like chemistry, technology, space, and more.

     Unfortunately, I haven't had much time to read books recently since I am busy with schoolwork. However I sometimes still listen to audiobooks and read digital books or eBooks. Even when I'm not reading books though, I still like to explore new things. I can get interested in many things, and I like learning*, whether in the classroom or by searching online.

Write a five-sentence reflection on how it helped you grow personally or professionally.

     This hobby has helped me tremendously by teaching me to be curious and learn new things. This helps me professionally and in my academics by giving me a thirst for learning and for knowledge. As a result, I am inspired to learn and understand our lessons in school. Personally, this has helped me become more open-minded and be more aware about my surroundings. It has also assisted me in developing a positive attitude towards new things and experiences.
